I cannot believe that is been so long so I updated the world on what is happening. Things are as good as ever here in Minnesota. It is starting to get extremely cold, I hate Winter! Someday I’ll learn and move to warmer climate.

I am trying to get over a case of Bronchitis, damn all those years of smoking, while it does make you look cool, it leaves it’s mark (kids, smoking doesn’t make you look cool). Lynsey is doing great, looking radiant as a pregnant woman. It is so crazy to believe that in approx. 6 weeks I will have a daughter and be responsible for another persons life.

I picked up a Xbox 360 a month or so ago, that has been consuming much of my free time. Trying to get as much gaming time as I can get split between that and the PS3 before I have no time for gaming.

My father and I turned each added another year to our totals here on earth, and now he is back in the states after spending most the year overseas. Christmas is fast approaching, Lynsey and I are hosting my family at our house, we are both excited for that.

Other than that, life is good and normal. In case I dont post again, have a happy holiday season. Talk at you later, maybe in 2009.

I haven’t updated the world on what is happening in a while, so here you have several updates all at once.

Lynsey had an unfortunate week last week, The Schwan Food Company cut 78 jobs here in Marshall and Lynsey’s position was eliminated, which yes means she did lose her job. Given our upcoming addition to our family, the timing could have been better. BUT we were planning on having Lynsey stay at home after Jaylyn was born, it just happened a few months earlier.

Jaylyn is growing everyday and kicking more and more, Lynsey’s belly is getting bigger and has the shape of a pregnant woman. We have started taking classes at the hospital for everything, that is interesting and scary all in itself. We have started getting the nursery/baby room ready, we have our crib and the paint will will not be far behind.

As Jaylyn grows and kicks more everyday we have started to see Lynsey’s belly move , see the bumps as her head and or feet move around. It is awesome and also scary at the same time, having never seen something like that it freaks me out a little.

Below is a video of what I expect to see when it happens. We have our next doctors appointment at the end of the month, more to follow.

Today we are a little past 20 weeks into the pregnancy. We had an appointment to get the “big” ultrasound, the ultrasound when we get to find out the sex fo the baby. Well below are the pictures from the ultrasound, they are kind of dark, I tried to touch them up, might try to rescan some later.

Before you ask, yes we found out what we are having, we both knew from day one that we wanted to know. We are having a beautiful baby girl! I am so damn excited about it that I don’t even know how to describe it.

We had a doctors appointment this morning, all went well. We didnt get an ultrasound, apparently we dont get another one until week 20, that is the week we get to find out the sex. We both are very much in favor of finding out, we want to be able to buy clothes and such made for either a boy or girl.

We have hammered out the details and agreed on names whether it be a boy or girl, so that is one piece of the puzzle complete. We also found a crib and changing table/dresser set we really like. Just a few more months and the puzzle will be complete.

Everything seems to be going good, Lynsey isnt feeling to well, she has had quite the headache today. But she is laying down now and hopefully feeling a little better.

I am a few weeks behind, but here are the pictures of our first child. You can tell it has Lynseys beautiful eyes. We go to the doctor again this Wed, so there will be a new ultrasound soon.

This first picture is our first ultrasound, approx 6 weeks into the pregnancy. There isn’t really a red circle around the baby, I added that for ease of viewing.

Last week Lynsey and I sent an email to our family and friends, I wanted to give that email time to circulate and enough time to be read before I posted anything online. At the end of January, Lynsey and I will become parents, yes you heard me right, I am going to be a father.

We are very excited and cannot wait for the birth, but for the moment we are enjoying the pregnancy. At least I am, as I am not the one who has morning sickness and all the “fun” things that go with being the pregnant mom. I hope to get the latest sonogram picture online this weekend.

You might have noticed the site has changed, if not you may want to see a doctor. What I have come up with in the last couple months is that I will continue my website; I will update however often I want. Some entries will be password protected, if you want the password, just ask. I will be importing all the old entries, they will ALL be password protected. The new an improved www.jetjr.com will contain a lot of personal details, family news, etc. I will still give my thoughts and opinions but most likely password them, as I do not want my thoughts coming back and biting me in the professional world.

I have transitioned to Wordpress, it is much easier than MovableType and provides more flexibility since I will not spend that amount of time I did before designing and changing the site.

I am also going to try and name each post by using a song lyric, I have started with this post, feel free to name the song in the comments for the posts, if you can You will notice that if you try and comment you will need to register, it is simple, instant, and provides me with spam security, please do so, or don’t comment, and no one will ever know your thoughts.
